Member Posts: 9 | I believe da1writer mention the desire for a turbo mode, I would most love this. It would make leveling up in an RPG so much easier, amoung other things. It was also said that all a turbo button does is jack up the frameskip to like a 100 or 200 (just guessing). Admin: Do you think you could put a small hack into morphgear to allow us to manually enter the framskip? (Or Give us a couple of crazy values). If we could manuel enter it ourselves, we could give you feedback on what gives the best simulation of a "turbo" mode. I personally think a small little hack should be fine, (my personal module preferences are: NES,GB,SNES, and GBA) Thanks alot, Rich

If you're talking NES or GB it might have a useful effect. It shouldn't be too hard to add this to a future release. The input system needs a few modifications to allow for other features to be mapped to keys (like activating turbo, saving a game, pausing, etc.)

A turbo button to skip stuff, not make gaming smoother. You'd get Pocket Hackmaster or a new device for that

Expert Posts: 1645 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I understand the reason for turbo, and it's a good one (on the desktop build you can press F5 I believe to enable it). But, my point is that dropping frames or not drawing video isn't going to give you a turbo mode on a Pocket PC because some of them can't run the emulation fast enough (more than 60fps) to make turbo mode do anything.

OK, I'll drop this idea and let alone what needs to be... at least it was an idea... What about this "pause" option in the "Pause Funtion" post in the Feature Request forum... Is it even possible?
