I have the latest version of Morphgear on an Audiovox PPC6601, when starting morphgear I get the error message "Possibly out of memory. Unable to load DLL:\Program Files\Games\Morphgear\Emu\xxxx.dll Depending on a soft reset the dll's which cannot be loaded vary, sometimes it can be all of them, usually it is the GBAE one that causes me problems, and that is really the only one I use!

I have tried taking the dll's out of the PPC temporarily, but even with no dll's in the ppc I still get the same error message.

This is a real bummer if I cannot get this program to work, please take a look into it.

how much program memory do you have allocated? GBA games are memory hungary ... some games need about 30 megs to run ( the new FF for example )

you may not have enough memory

I have 38Mb free for programs, this is more than I had on my 2215 that ran all my games fine. Just to clarify I get this error message when first loading Morphgear, not when loading games.

So for the moment my purchase is totally unuseable, thanks for looking into it as I enjoyed this program immensely on my previous PPC.

try disabling anything you have set to startup automatically, like wisbar, pocket plus, etc. Also disable any today plugins you have running. If those 2 arent causing it, bluetranes right. Back up, do a hard reset, install morphgear by itself. If it works add back all your programs 1 by 1 til you see which is causing the problem.

The only other thing would be to try an older version of morphgear but that probably wouldnt make much of a difference in this case.

Seems to be a bluetooth sharing error, on hard reset I can get morphgear to work but as soon as I install a 3500C bluetooth patch I once again get the out of memory cannot load DLL messages. Would try the newer version but I have "exceeded the maximum number of activations", sigh.

Correction, after doing a hard reset and installing morphgear first, then program by program until I got the memory error. It seems the culprit is Sprints Business Connection, maybe someone could look into this? I can at will install Business Connection and get the memory error, and uninstall it and run morphgear fine. Unfortunately Business Connection is crucial to me and must be installed.

You only need to reactivate if you keep changing your owner name. Set it to the original name you registered with (or last activated with) and your codes will work.

As long as you don't have a pocket registry editor (Which I and a few others might have), your Morphgear activation codes should still be there , same goes for your settings. With Pocket Registry editor, you can manual delete any file, I do this to clean my handheld of programs that I didn't like yet they leave their mark for some reason...
Anyway, your activation codes stay there forever, just do what Aaron said above...

He did a hard reset, that wipes everything. But typically, one sets the owner name back to what it was afterwards.

I did a hard reset, but I did change my owners name, actually I added a prefix. But I hope someone can look into the Business Connection issue as I really like Morphgear a lot and would like it to work with my setup.
